WILLIAMSON — Organizers are interested in inviting all area ministers to attend the “Tribute to Dawson” Isom, scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, January 23, at the Belfry Volunteer Fire Department.
The event is planned as a tribute to the life and accomplishments of teenager Isom, who has been in a coma since May 30. Isom, a student at Belfry High School, is currently in a Kentucky skilled nursing facility as the result of a altercation in Williamson.
Organizers said ministers of all faiths are invited to contact the organizing committee. A program will be developed and all those who may wish to speak will be given the opportunity. Students and fellow classmates of Isom’s are also invited to attend and speak.
For more information or to indicate a willingness to participate in the tribute, contact the Corridor Chronicle either at cell number 304-533-5185; email at ronjgregory@gmail.com; or on Facebook at corridor chronicle. The paper is also available on Internet at thecorridorchronicle.com.
