WASHINGTON, DC — West Virginia’s senior U.S. Senator Joe Manchin with make several stops in Southern West Virginia tomorrow (Friday, February 19), according to his office.
The Democrat Senator will meet with business and community leaders, as well as local officials and students to discuss various issues.
He will make stops at Mingo Central High School and Williamson Health and Wellness Center. Later, he will participate in a round-table discussion with the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and host a town hall meeting in Danville.
“This visit gives me the opportunity to tour some of our facilities, meet with our leaders, workers and students and hear their greatest concerns and ideas for me to take back to Washington,” Manchin said.
After spending the morning in Mingo County, the Senator will appear at the Logan round-table at 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Logan County Commission building. Then, at 2:30 p.m., Manchin is scheduled to be at Danville’s Park Avenue Restaurant for the town hall meeting.
Other events may be added to the agenda, the announcement said.
