Senator, do you believe in justice?

We are giving thought to preparing a little flyer like this for all the incumbent State Senators running for re-election so their voters will be aware of their actions. What do you think?

DO YOU BELIEVE IN JUSTICE?
Apparently, (your senator) doesn’t.

The 18-year-old pictured was brutally beaten without provocation in broad daylight in downtown Williamson on May 30, 2015. He remains in a comatose condition. Videos of the beating are available for viewing.

Mingo County’s then-Prosecutor Teresa Maynard did not prosecute the perpetrators of this heinous crime. The voters of Mingo rejected her in May 2016 by electing a new Prosecutor by a two-to-one margin.

But in September, Governor Earl Ray Tomblin nominated Maynard to be chief administrative law judge, a cushy state job with a nice, big salary. Despite her record in this young man’s case and others, your Senator (name) voted to confirm her.

Do you stand with justice or with (your senator)?
Vote (opponent’s name) on November 8 and send a message of justice to Charleston and bring (your senator) home.
