Charleston — Governor Jim Justice will sign a key piece of legislation (Senate Bill 1003) to leverage West Virginia Turnpike toll collections to issue new road building bonds, and allow West Virginians the opportunity to drive free for a flat fee. The bill signing is set for 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 27 in the governor’s reception room at the state capitol.
At that time, Justice will announce the date for the road bond referendum. West Virginia voters will be asked at that time to approve funding for part of the massive road construction plan previously announced by the governor
