LOGAN — Media outlets have reported that State Senator Richard Ojeda, a Logan Democrat, has said a three-year-old boy was bitten by a copperhead snake Tuesday.
WSAZ said the boy was transported to a Charleston hospital, according to social media.
The television station said Ojeda reported the youngster was bitten in the Whitman area near Logan.
The senator consistently refuses to respond to Corridor Chronicle inquiries, including any explanation of how he is eligible for the real estate tax homestead exemption he receives.
No further details on the snake biting episode are available.
