Huntington — Cabell County Delegate Carol Miller has received two new endorsements in his race to represent the Third Congressional District in the House of Representatives. Miller is seeking the Republican nomination for the position now held by Republican Evan Jenkins. Jenkins is running for the U.S. Senate.
Miller received the endorsements from the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce for her commitment to growing the economy and creating jobs.
Other groups that had previously endorsed Miller include Winning for Women and the pro-life advocacy leader Susan B. Anothony List.
West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts said, “Miller has maintained a nearly flawless record on advancing legislation that promotes job creation and economic development.”
Miller responded, “As a bison farmer and small business owner, I’m honored to receive the support of both the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce as well as my local Chamber of Commerce in Huntington. I’m ready to take the fight for West Virginia’s small businesses to Washington.”
