PEIA outreach meetings set

Charleston — Governor Jim Justice announced today that the PEIA Task Force will conduct 21 public outreach meetings throughout the state.
Meetings will run from May 1 to June 11, and will give the public an opportunity to voice their thoughts on the Public Employees Insurance Agency — what’s working well and what needs improved. Members of the public outreach subcommittee will relay this feedback to the larger task force, which is working to find a long-term solution to issues facing PEIA.
The task force selected the following locations and times with the goal of allowing all West Virginians the opportunity to make their voices heard:

May 1 Huntington — 6:30 p.m. Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center at Marshall University;
May 1 Point Pleasant — 6:30 p.m. Point Pleasant High School;
May 3 Parkersburg — 6:30 p.m. Parkersburg High School;
May 12 Wheeling — 11 a.m. West Virginia Northern Community College;
May 12 Weirton — 11 a.m. Thomas E. Millsop Community Center;
May 15 Flatwoods — 6:30 p.m. Braxton County High School;
May 15 Spencer — 6:30 p.m. Spencer Middle School;
May 18 Springfield — 6:30 p.m. Springfield-Green Spring Elementary School;
May 18 Marlinton — 6:30 p.m. Marlinton Middle School;
May 19 Moorefield — 11 a.m. Moorefield National Guard Facility;
May 19 Franklin — 11 a.m. Franklin Community Center;
May 24 Beckley — 6:30 p.m. Tamarack Conference Center;
May 24 Princeton — 6:30 p.m. Princeton Middle School;
May 24 Lewisburg — 6:30 p.m. Lewisburg Elementary School;
May 31 Pineville — 6:30 p.m. Pineville Middle School;
May 31 Logan — 6:30 p.m. Logan High School;
June 2 Elkins — 11 a.m. Phil Gainer Community Center;
June 5 West Union — 6:30 p.m. Doddridge County High School;
June 8 Morgantown — 6:30 p.m. West Virginia University (Location TBD);
June 9 Martinsburg — 11 a.m. Spring Mills High School;
June 11 Charleston — 6:30 p.m. The State Culture Center.
Those who wish to submit input online can do so at the task force’s website, peiataskforce.wv.gov.
